Hartford Group has bought two wine bars from Youngs Brewery, for an undisclosed fee.
The sites are both in London: Willy’s Wine Bar on Fenchurch Street and Bill Bentleys Minories, also in the City of London.
Both wine bars will be re-branded as Jamies.
In June Stephen Thomas, the company’s chairman, said that now the group’s finances were more stable, it was actively looking to expand the estate.
Thomas added: "The infrastructure is in place such that the business can double the number of trading sites within the estate, with a minimal increase in central costs."
