The Greater London Authority is consulting gastro pub operators as part of its draft London Food strategy. London Food is intended to look at ways to improve the health of Londoners through better diets, increasing choice and quality of food and promoting the capital's cultural diversity through food. Jenny Jones, chair of London Food, told the Morning Advertiser: "We want to get the views of as many different Londoners as possible, not only to reflect what London wants, but to ensure that everyone is involved and that we see effective change as a result." Deadline for submissions is 7 December. To submit an opinion visit www.lds.gov.uk/londonfood.
