Tenanted operator Enterprise Inns is looking to recruit a head of food strategy, writes Paul Chariry. The position, which will be based at Enterprise headquarters in Solihull, will report to the company¹s head of sales and marketing. The occupant will be required to define and implement a food strategy to optimise profit opportunities from food and other non-drink categories. He or she will also be asked to negotiate price, terms and support to “optimize best value”. A job advert states: “Working closely with the segmentation and insight manager, you will monitor and interpret food trends and develop, trial and evaluate food concepts that ensure we and our licensees get the most out of the Food Category. “The ideal candidate for this senior role is likely to have experience of the ‘casual dining’ market through working in either a pub/restaurant business or from working for a food supplier or manufacturer.”
