Neil Morrisey, the actor best known for his role in Men Behaving Badly, has bought Dylan Thomas's favourite pub for £670,000. Morrisey bought Brown's Hotel in Laugharne, Wales, at an auction at the local memorial hall last night. He already co-owns another pub in the village. Thomas is thought to have based characters in Under Milk Wood on regulars in the pub. Tommy Watts, the pub's landlord, said of Morissey, "As the voice of Bob the Builder he is probably well placed to exploit the full potential of the property and fix it up."
