Coffee Republic has signed a franchise agreement to opens its coffee shops in Cyprus. The deal with the Terra Group, a local real estate and financial service group, will see 15 stores open across key locations shortly. Last month, the company signed a similar deal with a company in South Africa – and the developments mark a speeding up of the brands international rollout. The company also opened its second outlet in the Kaifan area of Kuwait this week. Tariq Affara, Coffee Republic’s chief executive, said: “The desire for the Coffee Republic brand abroad has been very exciting. “This is allowing us to build momentum at home and abroad. We have a foothold in Cyprus and several other deals in the pipeline and will continue to invest in the international growth and expansion of the brand.”
