Cloverleaf Pubs, a Blackburn-based pub restaurant operator, has acquired a one and a half acre site in Rotherham for £2.5m, on which it is set to develop its third family pub restaurant. The Dinnington pub, which will be called Monk’s Bridge Farm and will cater for 260 diners, is due to open in November. Cloverleaf also operates pub restaurants in Bury and Sheffield. The company, which is co-run by John Winder who was the former operations director of Enterprise Inns, is planning to open four new pub restaurants in the next six months, with three new-build sites already earmarked for development. Gary Douglas, co-director, said: “With a number of new companies relocating to Rotherham, there will be more demand for good, quality restaurants and pubs and we are in a position to fill this gap.”
