BrewDog, the Scottish brewer and bar operator, is set to be the latest leisure operator to secure a site in Manchester’s Peter Street. The company will join All Star Lanes, the ten-pin bowling operator, and Trof, the five-strong Manchester based leisure group, in securing a leasehold site on Peter Street for its craft beer bar. BrewDog said: “The deal for 35 Peter Street in Manchester is now pretty much finalised and we intend to start work there later next week. We are excited to be involved in the revitalisation of Peter Street. “The venue has some awesome full height glass windows, killer beams and features we can strip back and expose, some great brickwork and a mezzanine level. It also benefits from some outside space and we will have an area of fixed seating outside the bar.” BrewDog plans to open 10 bars this year. The next, in Nottingham, is to open on 25 February, taking the firm to five sites. Venues in Leeds and Newcastle have also been secured for openings in Spring.
