Botanic Inns, the 14-strong Belfast-based pub, restaurant and hotel group, has reportedly had a winding-up petition lodged against one of its subsidiaries over an unpaid debt. The Belfast Telegraph reports that the petition was lodged by landlords of the headquarters of Botanic Inns Limited, which operates five pubs as well as an off-licence, because of a debt of £60,615. The move reportedly has no impact on the operation of Botanic Inns venues. According to the Belfast Telegraph, Botanic Inns Limited vacated the office last Friday and is now using an office above its Horatio Todd’s outlet in Belfast as its HQ. M&C Report left a message with Botanic Inns but received no reply at the time of publication.
