Dominic Harrison, the former Gala Coral chief executive, who is about to step down as interim chief executive of Business in Sport & Leisure (BISL), has been linked with the vacant chief executive post at Mitchells & Butlers (M&B). The Times City Diary suggests that Harrison, a former executive at the managed pub operator in its Bass days, has thrown his hat into the ring for the chief executive role, which is currently being overseen by executive chairman Bob Ivell. The newspaper says that Harrison could also be interested in the chief executive roles at the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and the MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club).
