Be At One, the cocktail bar chain, saw sales leap more than 20% in December. For the month ending 31 December 2010, group sales at the 10-strong chain increased 21.7% to £834,952 (December 2009: £686,204). Like for like sales, for sites open for over a year, grew 11.1% to £762,422. Rhys Oldfield, co-founder of Be At One, said: “This has been another fantastic period for Be At One. Londoners have defied snow and helped us produce record numbers over both Christmas and New Year. “This result underlines that our strategy of delivering consistently great cocktails, excellent service and classic tunes is as relevant now as ever.” Be At One plans to open two more bars in the current financial year, with five planned for 2011/12.
