Amber Taverns, the Preston-based pub operator, has acquired the freehold of the Pullman pub in Blyth, Northumberland, off an asking price of £145,000. Situated on the edge of Blyth town centre, the Pullman comprises a 50-cover open-plan bar, beer garden and two-bedroom owner’s accommodation. Amber Taverns currently operates an estate of 53 pubs across the North of England. The group was recently listed 57th in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 of Britain's fastest growing companies and was established in 2005 by chairman Clive Preston.
