A new company that includes experienced figures from the bar and nightclub industry is to invest £1.5m on a new bar, restaurant and nightclub in Leamington Star, according to the Leamington Courier. The newspaper reports that the new firm Warneford Bars is to transform the former KoKo in Warwick Street into a venue featuring a ‘boutique’ VIP lounge with table service, a semi-glazed roof terrace called the Observatory, and a club room called Uber. Warenford Bars’ operations director is Zolly Branch, who has worked for Luminar and Novus. The company has reportedly brought in former Ministry of Sound operations director Tony Rigg as a consultant on the venue, which has a "holding name" of Altoria. He told the Leamington Courier: “It’s going to move forward social drinking and the social consumption of music. It’s the next generation of venue.”
