The Portman Group, the drinks industry watchdog, has confirmed that its chief executive David Poley is to leave, writes MIchelle Perrett. Poley will not be leaving the watchdog immediately but will be overseeing a succession planning phase for his replacement. A statement from the Portman Group said: “We can confirm that after 14 years with the organisation, including nearly five years as chief executive, David Poley is leaving the Portman Group. "We will be appointing a successor and further details will be announced in due course.”
