Richard Hanson, the chairman of Hardys & Hansons will retire on Friday having completed his half century at the company. Tim Bonham, the company’s managing director, said: "Richard has over the years made an invaluable contribution to the company for which we are very grateful. We wish him well in his retirement." Hanson will be replaced by James Kerr-Muir, who will hold the role of non-executive chairman. Kerr-Muir is non-executive chairman Senior and Davenham Group, and will step down as a director at Yates Group.
