Mitch Tonks, founder and former chief executive of FishWorks, has resigned from the board. The AIM-listed restaurant group described the departure as “a natural progression” given his increasing concentration on independent projects and his media career. However, he would retain an “ambassadorial role” with the company, it said. FishWorks announced the sale of its Notting Hill restaurant and it said it planned to pull out of two other properties in London. It said, however, it was also looking at new premises in the capital. The shares closed down 0.25p at 5p. The Times 05/07/08 page 64, 66 The Daily Telegraph 05/07/08 page 32
