Luminar Leisure is to unveil its new nightclub concept, Project, in Norwich in December — the company’s first new opening in two years. Project will open in the Riverside Entertainment Centre in Norwich, while clubs in Peterborough, Windsor and Hanley will be converted to the concept before Christmas. The Norwich venue will feature two main rooms, a VIP area, and a stage for live entertainment and karaoke booths. Simon Douglas, Luminar’s chief executive, said: “Project has been designed to provide the complete night out, incorporating a stage for live acts and Karaoke, sitting alongside traditional dance floors. "It will deliver the very best entertainment experience." The company unveils its first half results on Thursday and is widely expected to confirm that it has past strict banking covenants that were due to be tested in August.
