Giraffe, the Risk Capital Partners-backed restaurant chain, has opened the second site under its Bar & Grill format, which is designed to appeal more to the late-night market, in Greek Street, Leeds. The group, which is led by Russel and Juliette Joffe, opened its first Bar & Grill in Soho last year. The new site is spread over two floors with a bar, private events room and a chill out lounge upstairs. The group currently operates 46 sites in total, including 24 original Giraffes outside London, 16 in the capital, two Giraffe Cafes in Hampstead and Wimbledon, and Giraffe Burgers & Cocktails in James Street in London It recently opened its new transport hub concept, Giraffe Stop, at the redeveloped King’s Cross Station.
