Yesteryear, the Wigan-based pub company, is to dispose of 10 outlets from its estate of pubs and bars, according to reports. Tony Callaghan, the group’s managing director, said the move was part of a restructuring programme as the company looked to run a smaller estate in order to grow “in a slightly different direction”. The group currently operates 26 sites, which are split between destination bars in town centres like the Number Fifteen and Little Fifteen bars, and unbranded community pubs in urban residential areas.
