The administrators of Regent Inns, the former operator of Jongleurs and Walkabout, have asked property agents to market three more leasehold sites. Christie & Co is to seek buyers for two Ipswich sites – branded as Old Orleans and Pals – plus a venue in Middlesbrough that trades as Walkabout bar and club. The three sites are the latest in a line of leasehold properties that BDO has asked Christie to dispose of. Last month Old Orleans in Plymouth, the Walkabout in Hanley and the Stone House in Hertford were all put up for sale. Negotiations on a number of other former Regent outlets are at various stages. Regent went into administration just over a year ago when the banks behind the company conducted a pre-pack administration. About 60 of the company’s 80 sites were taken forward into a new vehicle called Intertain, with the balance left with BDO.
