Terroir, the French restaurant operator, is to open a sister outlet in the capital. Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL), acting on behalf of Terroir secured the remaining term on the lease for The Flea Pit, a bar/café on Columbia Road in East London. The menu of tapas-size French food is devised by head chef Ed Wilson, who has worked with the likes of the Galvin brothers and Henry Harris. The Terroir concept is based on Parisian wine bars and its first outlet on Trafalgar Square is said to have one of London’s best wine lists with 32 pages of French, Spanish and Italian wines, ciders and eaux de vies.
