Interbrew UK is looking for a marketing director, after promoting Stewart Gilliland to managing director.

The new marketing director will be responsible for marketing brands such as Stella Artois, Boddingtons and Rolling Rock, as well as Heineken lager. Interbrew spends £30m on advertising its brands.

Gilliland was put into the top seat after he resignation of Miles Templeman, who is leaving the company at the end of May after 16 years with Whitbread's brewing business, which was bought by Interbrew for £400m nine months ago.

Templeman was credited with turning Stella into the UK's leading premium lager, using the "reassuringly expensive" campaign, created by Lowe Lintas.
