Starters & Puds, a new tapas-style concept, has been launched in Newcastle city centre. Entrepreneur David Burrow acquired the site of the former Charley’s on Grey Street and has reopened it as a 75-cover restaurant under head chef Lee Campbell. The new outlet will serve dishes including stilton rarebit and seared scallops with beef carpaccio, followed by cappuccino tiramisu and banoffee pie cheesecake.
