Six licensees from across Britain have reached the final stage of the British Institute of Innkeeping's Licensee of the Year 200' competition, sponsored by Matthew Clarke. The finalists will enjoy a final day of lunch and informal questioning with the competition's judges, who will determine the national winner. The victor, whose identity will remain a closely guarded secret until all is revealed at the Publican Awards ceremony in March, will receive a cheque for £1000 as well as the trophy, in front of industry professionals and 1,700 of their peers.
