Urbium has applied to the London Stock Exchange for admission to trading on AIM of128,188 shares of 50 pence each. The shares were issued and allotted on 5 August to satisfy the exercise of options. The news came a week after Nigel Wray, a non-executive director at the company, sold 210,000 shares in the group, at 900pence, raising a total of £1.89m. The sale was followed by Societe Generale Asset Management’s decision to dispose of sold 160,000 shares last Thursday when the price reached 907.5p. Wray now has a holding of 497,443 ordinary shares of 50 pence each in the company, representing 4.79% of the issued share capital. The company’s share price was last quoted at 907.5 pence, significantly lower than the 975p per share offer put forward by Regent Inns.
