Riddle & Finns, a Brighton fish and seafood restaurant, plans to roll out branches to other coastal towns. Tracey MacLeod, in The Independent Magazine, gives the Brighton branch four stars for its food and three stars apiece for ambience and service. She reserves her criticism for the uncomfortable tall, low-backed stools. “It would be all too possible to topple backwards from one after an overenthusiastic inspection of the wine list and find yourself laid out on one of the marble counters like the catch of the day,” she writes.
