Regent Inns, which reports six-month results on Thursday, is preparing to go on the acquisition trail with the remaining cash from November’s £16.7m share placing.
It is also keen to promote its new Stonehouse brand.
The company is expected to post a slight increase in profits up from £6.6m to an estimated £7.7m.
