Gordon Ramsay has been forced to rename one of his desserts on the menu at the Boxwood Café in the Berkeley Hotel, London. Unilever, the owner of ice cream brand Wall's, has threatened the chef with legal action over the term 'mini Cornettos'. Unilever claims that the use of Cornetto on the menu is: "likely to damage the distinctiveness of our Cornetto mark", and has demanded it be removed from the menu under threat of legal action. A Unilever spokesman said: "The reality of the situation is that Gordon Ramsay wouldn't be very happy if we started selling Gordon Ramsay mayonnaise". Ramsay responded in his traditional fashion with: "What p***es me off is that the dessert has been so popular." It is expected that the dessert will be renamed.
