Pub quizzes are to be given a 21st century makeover though an interactive television service being launched next month. Comedian Jasper Carrott is one of the backers of Cash Inn, which will run on Sunday night and offer weekly cash prizes of up to £25,000. The Laurel and Spirit groups are believed to have already signed up and Laurel chairman Ian Payne is an investor in Cash Inn.
