The former Provence estate of 22 freehold pubs will be divided into smaller packages when it is sold. The sites, which are being sold by Colliers CRE, have received a total of 90 bids, with a new limited company offering the largest successful bid for a package of five pubs. The pubs are due to be sold for a guide price that is much lower than the prices asked by Provence. The Wheatsheaf in Whitbourne has a guide price of £350,000, while Provence tried to sell it for £510,000. The Nag's Head in Whittlesey has a guide price of £300,000, compared to Provence's selling price of £460,000.
