Angela Hartnett has brought in Helena Hell to run MENU at the Connaught, which opened this [last] week.

She has also brought in Jayne Brearley to oversee the breakfast service in what The Times calls one of London’s last bastions of old-school dining.

Both used to work at La Trompette in Chiswick, West London.

The restaurant has undergone a revolution and introduced Mediterranean food.
