Seafood restaurant chain Fishworks will reveal this week that it is close to signing up a new flagship restaurant in London's West End while underlying trading is the best it has been for months. But the annual results are expected to show the group is still in the red after it reported a loss of £740,807 for the first half of the year. Chairman Gary Ashworth is likely to announce plans to close one or two of Fishworks's 12 outlets to concentrate on larger restaurants of about 100 covers.
