The founder of Jongleurs has struck a deal to launch the comedy-club concept across Ireland. Maria Kempinska, who still owns the intellectual property to the brand, has teamed up with Irish entrepreneurs Peter Dennehy and Tim Stone to run comedy nights in the country. Dennehy and Stone have set up a franchise in the Republic of Ireland, with an option over Northern Ireland. They plan a national tour, which will preclude establishing a dedicated comedy venue next year. The firm will also offer bespoke comedy shows to the corporate sector and for private events.
