The freehold of a 119-bedroom Premier Inn hotel in west London, which includes a Punch Taverns leasehold pub as part of the deal, has been sold to a private investor for an undisclosed sum off a guide price of £10m. The property, featuring the Premier Inn Hammersmith Hotel and the Ravenscourt Arms pub, was sold by telecommunications firm Metrotel. The property generates a rental income of more than £650,000 per year from the lease to Premier Inn Hotels and Punch and phone company Orange for telecommunications equipment. Gerald Eve leisure partner Nick Barber, who advised on the sale, said: “The market continues to demonstrate a strong appetite for this kind of well let and well located hotel property both from institutions and private investors. Many investors are particularly attracted by Premier Inn’s strong brand and growth story for London.”
