Roccopoint, a new Italian charcuterie concept, has made its debut in the UK on the site of the former Langan's Bar & Grill in London’s Earl’s Court. The group, which is believed to operate a number of sites under different names outside the UK, has taken a new lease on the Old Brompton Road-based site for the new venture that will focus on cold cuts and cheeses prepared in an open kitchen. Langan’s Bar & Grill, which closed in October 2010, is comprises c4,500sq ft spread over ground floor, basement and terrace. Davis Coffer Lyons acted for Langan’s on the disposal. Earlier this week, M&C Report revealed that Langan’s Restaurants, which still operates four sites in the capital, had received a new seven-figure investment that it hopes to use to take the business to the next stage of its development including new openings. Brian Clivaz has also joined the business as chief executive after leaving the Arts Club in Mayfair earlier this year.
