Gresham Inns Pub Company, the fledgling business led by entrepreneur Will Clayton, is seeking further sites across London for a new hostel concept it has launched at its Pride of Paddington business. The project, which has been described as a “significant investment for the business”, has seen 54 beds added to the existing pub site. The new accommodation, which is set in a traditional inn style, is laid out over seven mixed dorms, with an additional twin room and a further double room. Prices start at £19 a night. Clayton said: “We know this concept works and we are actively looking for new sites across the capital to replicate the formula.. Our take in a hostel differs from others, we believe that you van create a hostel around a pub and stay true to the fun of staying at an inn without breaking the bank.” Last month, the company announced plans to roll out the iconic Cork & Bottle wine bar name across London over the next few years, before exploring opportunities for the format nationwide.
