Nigel Farrell, owner of the Glass House, in Ambleside, Cumbria has abandoned some of the changes recommended by Gordon Ramsay during the Channel 4 series Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. The series, which was overshadowed by "Fawlty Towers-style rows with staff, got off to a bad start when the owner had a tiff with the trouble-shooter over the Caesar salad. Ramsay called Farrell "a jumped-up prick". Ramsay will shortly go into three other restaurants for filming. The series will be shown this spring. The Sunday Times 22/02/04 page 7
