The company behind Funland, the entertainment and bar complex in London’s Trocadero Centre, has fallen into administration. Begbies Traynor has been appointed as administrator of West End Amusements, owner of the Funland business, which has ceased trading. Funland, which is currently closed, is billed as one of London’s largest entertainment venues, featuring video games, virtual reality simulators, two licensed bars, music, ten pin bowling, dodgems and an American pool lounge. Jason Greenhalgh, partner at Begbies Traynor, said West End’s collapse was “due to the economic downturn”.
