Chef Jamie Oliver's restaurant Fifteen, which was set up in east London to help disadvantaged teenagers, made a £197,925 pre-tax profit last year after losing £166,000 in 2003. Oliver, who has set up a new branch in Amsterdam and hopes to establish two more in Cornwall and Australia, said it was down to the "amazing hard work of all our staff who work tirelessly to make sure every customer has a great time". He said he anticipated even better results next year and the year after. The Independent on Sunday 23/10/05 page 30
