Eight operators, running 300 sites between them, have joined the Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers (ALMR) so far this year, the trade body has announced. According to its news letter ALMR Matters, new members include Amber Taverns, the 70-strong pub company; Walkabout operator Intertain; Isle of Man-based leisure operator Heron & Brearley; and Oxford Hotels & Inns, the 200-strong golf and spa business. Other new members include Sports Bar & Grill, the operator of sports-focused bars near train stations; Route Organisation, the four-strong Cheshire pub company; Livelyhood Pubs, the five-strong pub operator; and Platinum Lace, the lap dancing company run by Simon Warr. Four new suppliers have also joined ALMR: broadcaster BSkyB; Costa Coffee; Drinks21, the premium drinks provider; and food and drink giant Unilever.
