London’s Millennium Dome is to reopen next Sunday after a £350m makeover. The renamed “O2” dome houses bars, restaurants and coffee bars as well as two concert halls, an 11-screen cinema, an exhibition space and an indoor beach, but was rejected as a possible location for a super-casino and will not now include any hotel accommodation. Operators soon to open their doors to customers include Starbucks, Nando’s, Pizza Express and the Gaucho Grill. The Glorious Group will also be running two bars and three upmarket restaurants serving American, British and Indian food. The Sunday Telegraph 17/6/07 page B6 (Business)
