Laws that prevent dogs entering American restaurants or even using their terraces are under attack. Dog owners are demanding the right to eat with their pets and Florida has now introduced a Doggie Dining Bill. This rules that pets and owners have the right to "have a brewski together, have a hot dog together or whatever they want". Chicago is considering a similar law and the Cyrano's Bistro in the city has already designed a four-course prix fixe doggy menu for $5. It includes steak hache and bone marrow gateau.
