Bean Coffee, the Liverpool-based chain, has opened its third site in Manchester, and sixth overall in the north west, at Peel Land and Property’s office building Venus in Trafford Quays. The company expanded into Manchester last year when it opened two sites at The Victoria and Quay West buildings in MediaCityUK, which are both also owned by Peel. The chain also operates three sites in Liverpool, a coffee shop and deli at Brunswick Business Park, plus units in the city’s Innovation Park and the Peel owned Princes Dock. Jon Whyte, founder and director, said “We are very happy to have opened a facility in the Venus reception area. We aim to provide the office workers with convenient access to superior breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks and so far the feedback has been very promising.” Liza Marco of Peel said: “We are delighted that Bean Coffee has decided to open another outlet at one of our offices. Venus is an imposing building within Trafford Quays and the high quality of the food and drinks served by Bean will provide an excellent complimentary amenity for both the buildings existing office occupiers and their visitors.”
