Anheuser-Busch and InBev, two of world’s biggest brewers, have signed an agreement, which will see Anheuser become the exclusive importer of a number of InBev’s premium European beers in the US. Anheuser will also handle the selling and distribution of InBev brands including Stella Artois, Beck’s, Hoegaarden, and Leffe. August A. Busch IV, president and chief executive of Anheuser, said: “This agreement gives us highly-valued brands that appeal to beer drinkers looking for sophisticated imports in their beer choices. “These well-known brands complement our company’s leading portfolio of American premium beers and enable our company to better compete.”
