The Barkby Group, the premium gastropub operator, has completed the reverse takeover of a group of companies controlled by Charles Dickson, including coffee roaster and wholesaler Workshop.
The acquisitive Stonegate has just made its biggest acquisition yet. Buying Ei Group transforms Stonegate into the biggest pub operator in the UK overnight, less than a decade after it was founded in August 2010 by TDR Capital to purchase 333 pubs from Mitchell & Butler.
