McDonald’s, the fast food operator, has been chosen to recruit and train 70,000 for the 2012 London Olympics. Known as “games makers”the army of volunteers is needed for roles such as interpreting, to checking tickets and giving travel advice to the millions expected to visit. It has also been announced that 1,500 roles for people of under the age of 18 will be created.
