Binge-drinking among young people is on the increase in Spain. Until recently being seen drunk in public was considered a matter of shame.
But now gangs of teenagers regularly gather in Madrid and Barcelona for ritual drinking sessions known as El Botellon, or The Big Bottle.
The Spanish government has launched an educational programme to try and reduce alcohol consumption by school-age children.
There are also growing worries about teenage drinking in Italy and Portugal.
