The Northern Ireland Tourist Industry Confederation and the Federation of the Retail Licensed Trade have teamed up to call for a review of pub licensing hours during holiday periods. Claire Whitten, NITIC chief executive, said: "While we are focusing our attentions on attracting visitors to Northern Ireland, it is equally as important to ensure that when they get here they have a positive and memorable experience. "Over the Easter weekend, visitor numbers to Northern Ireland increase by about 25%, and when they arrive these visitors are looking for entertainment."
