Columnist Janet Street-Porter is calling for drinks aimed at young people to carry a special tax which would cover the cost of police and hospitals dealing with alcohol abuse. She also wants adverts for them to be banned from TV, billboards and glossy magazines. Street-Porter claims the Portman Group's code of practice on advertising is routinely ignored.
