Domino’s Pizza in Poland has opened its seventh store in Warsaw. Located on the junction of Raclawicka Street and Wolowska Street, the new site further consolidates the company’s presence in the southern part of the city. Peter Shaw, chief Executive of DP Poland, said: “I am pleased to report that our sales continue to build as customers become aware of the great quality and value that we offer. The introduction of our latest menu at the beginning of this month, which includes a number of new pizza recipes and an additional pizza size across the range, delivered a marked sales uplift.” Domino’s Polish business has already secured two new sites for opening in 2012 and remains on-track to open 12 this year, despite reporting steep losses in H1. Last month, it reported a pre-tax loss of £676,399 for the six months to 30 June 2011, with Shaw highlighting “significant investment in infrastructure [and] rapid development of our operational capabilities”. DP Poland raised £6.5m following its listing on AIM in July 2010.
