Radeberger, owned by the food conglomerate Dr Oetker, is due to become Germany's biggest brewer in a deal that will see it acquire the whole of the Brau und Brunnen group. Dr Oetker has made an offer of Eu80 per share to the minority shareholders of Brau und Brunnen, after it acquired a 62% stake from Hypo Vereins Bank for Eu220m (£149m). The combined company will have around 15% of the German beer market, and brands including Radeberger, Jever and Schultheiss.
